It is ready!

My space for Design Canberra is ready and looking great. Swing round to the Lonsdale Street Traders in the next couple of days to see examples from all my series as well as other beautiful works by local Canberra artists.
Design Canberra has heaps of things for you to see and do this weekend including a design market on Saturday. Grab a copy of the brochure from an participating venue in town and you will be sure to find something you will enjoy.

I have a display titled 'Refraction' as part of the ACTivate program in the Design Canberra festival. I will be displaying a few of my works from my ‘Refraction’ series. In addition to these pieces, I will use artworks by fellow Canberra artists as well as works from my other series, to create an immersive room of artworks that explores nature as inspiration. Together, the works will transform the simple room into a platform of local art and design.
The space is in Lonsdale Street Traders in Braddon and will be open from 10am to 4pm on Thurs 20th to Sun 23rd November.

Creative Licence exhibition

I have a work in the upcoming exhibition "Creative Licence".
Curated by Anne Radimin, "Creative Licence" is a uniquely Canberra focused exhibition that invites 15 locally based, established and emerging craft and design practitioners to reinterpret, reuse and repurpose the remaining Canberra Centenary number plates to create new artworks. These innovative artworks incorporate design elements that respond to Canberra as Australia's only designed city.

Opening night is Thursday 6 November from 6pm.
The show runs from 7 November - 13 December
