Sunday 29th September I will be making components for my Refraction series at the Canberra Glassworks as well as explaining my processes to create these components. All are welcome to view and ask questions, I shall be in the Hot Shop between 11am and 3pm.

My piece 'Refraction XI' has been shortlisted for the inaugural 2013 Australian Craft Awards, which can be viewed by clicking on the button below. The Australian Craft Awards aim to celebrate those artists and designers who not only make beautiful work but those artists whom the public love as well. This means that all artists are encouraged to enter whether they are emerging or established and have an equal opportunity at receiving an award.
This award takes into consideration the public's response to the shortlisted works by counting and comparing the star ratings and 'shares' which the public apply to the works. This means that you can vote for your favorite works and help increase their chances at receiving an award. If you wish to do so simply click on the link above, fill in the registration form and you can rate as many or as few of the works as you wish. The judging will commence on October 12th and the finalists will be announced on October 20th. Public rating closes on October 28th and the winners will be announced on November 14th. |
