Sushi Range

My production works are a combination of design, art and function, perfect for the home. The patterns are based off river systems and other patterns found in water, which I also explore in my Trace series of artworks. The patterns are made with white glass powder and water on a black glass background. Once the pattern is complete, the piece is placed in a kiln and fired to over 800 degrees C, and then again to over 500 degrees C to form the shape. The whole process takes around 3 days to complete. The end result is a handcrafted, one of a kind, glass art piece.
Each set includes a sushi plate, pickle bowl and chopstick holder. There is also a square plate available for shared items.
